About Me
BELLA CROTTI (she/her) is a Brooklyn based writer best known for drafting all of her friends’ texts in high school. She first began writing at the age of seven when her iconic (in her house at least) poem titled “Snow Day” was published in the Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans.
Bella graduated from Pace University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Creative Writing where she received the Horel Endowed Scholarship in Journalism for exemplary work in a Women in Literature course. Throughout her time at Pace, Bella worked as an intern at The Telsey Office, Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, and Central Talent Booking. She also volunteered as a column writer for the online publication, Speciwomen Magazine. Bella is currently working as a Jr. Agent at McDonald/Selznick Associates Agency in New York City, where she recently co-produced a large scale performance event at The Paradise Club. She also works as a freelance community manager and copywriter for Magic Spoon.
Bella’s goal as an artist and writer is to shine light on and attempt to answer the questions she had growing up but never had the opportunity (read: balls) to ask. Her latest project is producing a short film she wrote; she hopes to deepen her knowledge of screenwriting through the process.
